Rangers International played its first league match under flood
light against Nassarawa United on Friday in a March that ended 2-0 in favour of
the Enugu State, Nigeria Best Club. The first Opportunity goal came 2 minutes
into the game with a Ranger player dispatching a shot inches away from the wood
work.
Rangers open the scoring in the 22nd minute of
the opening the game with header and they added their second in the 55 minutes
of the game with a log to cap a build up started from the defense. Nassarawa
United pulled one back from the penalty spot following a fowl by a Ranger
defender in the 18 year box. The away team cost a few scarce in the last minutes
of the Game but the flying Antelope saw the game through to secure all three points
and go top of the lead table with a game at hand against Giwa Football Club.
According to the correspondence the Home fight are in high
mood as the game featured a high number of dribbles, skim modes, runs and goals
