THE CHAIRMAN COMMITTEE ON SPORTS SENATOR OBINNA OBA HAS ASSURED THE SUCCESS OF THE FIRST READING OF SPORTS BILL AT HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY ABUJA IN NIGERIA



And chairman Senate Committee on Sports Senator in Nigeria Senator Obinna Oba said that part of the Challenges facing the sports industry in the country is a lacuna in the nation’s law. Senator Oba said as part of the effort to strengthen the country’s legislation the bill established in Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has scaled through the first reading.

The minister of youth and sports in the country Sowmi Dalonwu has before now stated that sports had no legal backing, it is hoped that the bill that has passed through the first reading at the national assembly will be passed into law to help check the excesses in the sports administration in the country.
